Silver award, Annual Reports: Alfesca

In 2008, Prentmet won a coveted Silver Award from SAPPI, the world’s largest producer of coated paper. This international award has brought us recognition for our quality print work which is on a par with the best products available anywhere.

A professional review from the Sappi comittee: The 2007 annual report for Alfesca, supplier of fresh and smoked fish, seafood and other fresh food products, was designed by AP Almannatengsl.
 

Printer Prentmet employed an FM screen to print the report on Sappi's Magno Satin 170 and 300g/m2, using four-colour sheetfed offset with an aqueous varnish. Paper merchant Hvitlist in Reykjavik supplied the papers, whose bright white shade, good opacity, and exceptional surface smoothness enabled Prentmet to achieve excellent reproduction of the colour and texture of the company's products, as well as easy readability for the report's text pages. The judges commented that, by using the FM screen, the printer had produced a very clean job, with very fresh looking images that matched very well when opposite one another.
